The screen lit up with excitement on Tuesday morning as students from Indonesia and Thailand logged in with bright smiles and curious minds. What followed was more than just a virtual meeting—it was a lively cultural journey that brought two nations closer through stories, traditions, and shared enthusiasm. The Second Online Collaborative Learning Program Between Al-Hamidiyah and Santichon Islamic School once again proved that learning knows no borders.

Held on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, from 11.00 to 12.00 WIB, the program took place at the Interactive Room of MA Al-Hamidiyah. Participants included Grade X–XI Aliyah students of Pesantren Al-Hamidiyah alongside students from Santichon Islamic School, creating a dynamic and diverse learning atmosphere. The chosen theme, “Festivals in Indonesia and Thailand,” instantly set the tone for a colorful and engaging exchange.

One by one, students proudly introduced iconic festivals from their respective countries—rich with history, symbolism, and joy. From vibrant Indonesian cultural celebrations to Thailand’s festive traditions, the session felt alive with visuals, laughter, and thoughtful questions. The interaction was not only informative but also deeply human, allowing students to see how culture becomes a bridge of understanding.

Sharing his impressions, Diego Naufal Ben Abdillah, a Grade XI-F1 student of MA Al-Hamidiyah and also a board member of ISPAH Putra for the 2025–2026 term, described the experience as eye-opening and motivating. He expressed that the program boosted his confidence to communicate internationally and broadened his global perspective. Diego also shared his hope that this collaboration would continue and eventually lead to real-world cultural exchanges, where students could meet face-to-face and learn directly from one another.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mahyudin, the Person in Charge (PIC) who guided and facilitated the program, emphasized that this training goes beyond language practice. According to him, one of the key benefits of the program is sharpening students’ global communication skills and cross-cultural awareness, which are essential competencies in today’s interconnected world. He also shared an exciting note that students of MA Pesantren Al-Hamidiyah are planned to be invited to visit Thailand, opening doors for deeper collaboration and international friendship.

As the session came to an end, one message resonated clearly: collaboration like this is not just about learning cultures—it’s about shaping open-minded, confident, and globally aware young leaders. With energy still buzzing in the room, this second program marked another meaningful step toward sustained international partnership. And if this is just the beginning, the future of global learning at Al-Hamidiyah and Santichon Islamic School looks brighter than ever.
